Workplace travel health is the pre-travel risk assessment, health advice and vaccinations an employer arranges before staff travel or are posted overseas for work. It sits within your duty of care: the health risks change with each destination, the work involved and the length of stay, so a short assessment beforehand sets out what each trip needs.
Our occupational health team delivers this for employers, alongside a pre-travel or offshore medical for staff going to remote or demanding environments. Our clinicians give the vaccinations, including yellow fever, through our travel clinic (see below), arranged for employers as a single package.

The difference is registration: travel vaccinations – including yellow fever, which requires a registered centre – are provided under our travel clinic, Medwyn Travel Clinic. For employers, we arrange it all as one package; individual travellers book with the travel clinic directly.

Travel health FAQs
Our clinicians deliver the vaccinations, including yellow fever – but under our registered travel clinic (Medwyn Travel Clinic), which holds the yellow fever registration. For an employer we arrange it as one package and invoice you; individual travellers can book with the travel clinic directly.
We look at the destination, the planned work, how long someone is away and their health, then set out the vaccinations, antimalarial advice and practical health briefing appropriate to the trip – with anything specialist routed to the travel clinic.
Ideally four to six weeks, since some vaccine courses take time to complete and become fully effective. We can still help at shorter notice and will prioritise what matters most for the trip.
Yes. For remote or demanding overseas postings, travel health can be combined with a pre-travel or offshore medical via our Medicals hub, in one appointment.
For work travel it is normally the employer's duty of care. We arrange and invoice it at the employer level and the employee simply attends. Individuals travelling privately book directly with our travel clinic.
