Medwyn Occupational Health carries out specialist medicals at its clinic in Dorking, Surrey – OEUK offshore and wind turbine medicals for the energy sector, DVLA D4 medicals for HGV, LGV, PCV and taxi drivers, safety-critical medicals for construction and plant, minibus driver medicals, executive health assessments, and visa and sport medicals.
Individuals can book online. Employers can enquire to arrange medicals at our clinic or on site at their premises.

Booking a medical
Choose and book online
Pick your medical and a time from our online diary and pay by card – your confirmation arrives immediately. Where a questionnaire is needed, we email it within one working day.
Attend at our Surrey clinic
Paid parking behind the Medwyn Centre, and a 10-minute walk from Dorking railway station. Your medical is carried out by a doctor or an occupational health advisor, depending on the medical.
Your certificate
Where the standard allows, your certificate is issued the same day. Otherwise it follows as soon as every result is available.

An accredited clinic
A SEQOHS-accredited occupational health clinic with OEUK-registered and GMC-registered doctors, established in 1998.
Doctors and advisors
A GMC-registered doctor carries out the offshore, wind turbine and driver medicals; our advisors the safety-critical, confined space, forklift and minibus medicals.

The price is shown on each page, with any add-on tests listed at their own price before you pay.

Common questions
Choose your medical, pick a time from the live diary and pay by card. Your confirmation and booking reference arrive by email straight after. For medicals that need one, we send an online health questionnaire by email to complete before your appointment.
No. Online bookings are paid by card at the time of booking; employers arranging medicals for a team are invoiced.
OEUK offshore medicals start at £260, the wind turbine medical is £310 including the Chester Step, and HGV, LGV, PCV and taxi D4 medicals are £102 each. Safety-critical medicals are £160 and confined space £180, both booked online. The forklift medical and the minibus driver medical are £80 each, arranged by enquiry. Plant operators take the standard safety-critical medical. Visa and sport medicals are priced on enquiry. Any add-on tests are shown at their own price before you pay.
You can see available times the moment you choose your medical, then book the slot that suits you. If you need to be seen quickly, take the earliest open appointment online, or call us on 01306 873936 and we will find the soonest time that works.
For the driver and energy medicals, yes, where the doctor can pass you as fit. Safety-critical, confined space, forklift and minibus certificates are issued within 24 hours of clinical review. If something needs follow-up or a report from your GP first, we tell you what is needed.
If you need to rearrange, contact us as early as you can and we will move your booking to another available time. Our rescheduling and cancellation terms are set out in our booking terms.
Not at present. ENG1 certificates must be issued by an MCA-approved doctor, and we can point you to one.
