Raised blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar. Changes in heart rhythm, and in how the liver and kidneys are working. Anaemia, low iron and vitamin levels, reduced lung function and hearing loss. Changes to the skin, prostate, testes or breast, and the blood markers for prostate and ovarian cancer. And how you are sleeping, drinking and coping.
Ninety minutes with an occupational health technician for the measurements, tests and blood samples, then thirty minutes with an occupational physician, who examines you and goes through the day's results. Where something needs following up, the physician writes to your GP with your consent.

Our clinic in Dorking
Appointments take place at the Medwyn Centre, with paid parking behind it and Dorking station a ten-minute walk.
An occupational physician
Your examination is carried out by a GMC-registered occupational physician, with an occupational health technician for the tests.

The physician talks it through with you and, with your consent, writes to your GP so that anything needing follow-up is already in hand.
The physician checks your skin, and examines the prostate and testes or the breasts if you choose. That examination is carried out only with your consent, and a chaperone is always available. The blood tests include PSA, a prostate cancer screen, for men and CA 125, an ovarian cancer screen, for women.
The uric acid test looks for gout and the risk of kidney stones, and the thyroid profile checks thyroid function. The FIT test is a stool sample you take at home and post to the laboratory; it looks for hidden blood, which can be an early sign of bowel cancer. Each is added where you ask for it or the physician advises it.
Yes. Our wellness screening runs on site for the wider workforce, and many employers offer the executive assessment to senior leaders alongside it.
No. A safety-critical medical answers whether someone is fit for a particular job. The executive health assessment is a check of your own health, with a report to you.
