Occupational health only works if everyone can reach it. We want every visitor to use this website comfortably, and every person attending the Medwyn Centre to feel expected and welcome. This page explains what we have done, what we are still improving, and how to tell us when something is not working for you.
Using this website
This website has been designed and built with the aim of meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In practice, that means you can navigate the whole site using a keyboard alone, pages use meaningful headings and landmarks so people using screen readers can find their way around easily, images carry text alternatives, and text can be zoomed to 200% without content overlapping or disappearing. We have checked text colours against the AA contrast standard and corrected those that fell short. The site works across modern browsers and mobile devices.
Some parts of the experience rely on third parties. The secure card payment step at the end of our medicals booking is provided by Stripe, and while Stripe maintains its own accessibility standards, we cannot alter how it works. Some documents we link to – such as the DVLA D4 form on GOV.UK – are published by external bodies.

Our Surrey clinic is at the Medwyn Centre, Reigate Road, Dorking RH4 1SD.

An accessible toilet is available on site.
Hearing loop
A hearing loop is available – tell us if you would like to use it.

Assistance dogs are always welcome.
A quieter wait
A quieter place to wait, whenever you need it – just ask.

Adjustments for your appointment
Tell us what you need when you book, or at any time before your appointment, and we will arrange it. That might be a longer appointment slot, breaks during a longer assessment, or a chaperone during an examination.
We can provide documents and forms in large print, and we can arrange an interpreter for your appointment – any cost is agreed with your employer in advance.
